The Tattoo traditionally takes place annually on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle during the month of August, showcasing military music, precision drill, and cultural performances.

The Massed Pipes &amp; Drums
A perennial favorite at the Tattoo, the Massed Pipes and Drums feature military and civilian bands from across the globe, making a dramatic entrance across the historic drawbridge of Edinburgh Castle.
The Lone Piper
Perched atop the Edinburgh Castle ramparts, our Tattoo Lone Piper casts a stoic silhouette, providing a poignant moment of reflection to conclude the show. 
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tatoo Performers
Performers proudly present Scottish traditional dance &amp; music throughout the show including Highland Dancers, Pipes and Drums, and Fiddlers.
Massed British Military Bands
Highlighting the pinnacle of military precision and contemporary military music, the Journeys Show will feature performances by the British Armed Forces.
Majesticks Drum Corps
Swiss drumming group, Majesticks Drum Corps, brings a precision drill routine to the capital, showcasing the extraordinary skills of approximately 30 drummers. Their performance promises impeccable timing, showmanship, and a touch of humor, adding a unique flair to the Tattoo experience.
